Kiosk Procedures
  1. At the end of each operating day a cash office team member must collect the cash from the kiosks by using their key. Each kiosk has two sets of keys—one to open the front panels and another to release the bank and collect the cash. Collect the cash and re-insert the bank. Ensure the bank is inserted securely and be careful with any wires inside the kiosk they can break easily.
  2. Before leaving, open the left front panel and ensure the following:
  • Play cards are loaded. The kiosk card hopper should  be loaded up to half way with PlayCards each night after closing, overfilling the hopper will result in card jams. Playcards must be loaded with the barcode facing up and to the left. Spare PlayCards should be left in the kiosk in case they are used during the course of the day.
  • Receipt tape is loaded and the lever is raised. The kiosk will not operate if the lever is down. Spare receipt tape should be left in the kiosk in case it runs out during an operating day.
  1. Close the panel once you have verified the PlayCards and receipt tape are properly loaded.

Common Issues:

  • Red light on bill acceptor – Check that bill acceptor is not jammed by opening the rollers and ensure the bank cassette is securely loaded
  • New play cards not dispensed or Recharge only displayed on screen – Cards are jamming or scanner is not reading cards. Check and clear jams from card dispenser, ensure cards hopper is not overfilled (should only be halfway loaded), ensure scanner green light is turned on, and restart kiosk.
  • Sorry message displayed – Ensure printer has paper loaded and the lever is raised. Ensure kiosk did not lose network connectivity.
  • Kiosk closed message – Swipe value play card to reopen kiosk.
