Manual Attendance adjustment POS button have been created to assist with times when WB/Tickets don’t scan for admission because of missing entitlements on large ranges or system outages or network failures that knock out all devices at an entrance gate.
These buttons are only available for use to GM, AGM or Finance Managers.
On the Cash Control / Finance Office POS Station there is a tab named Manual Attendance.
Each current tracked attendance type has a button. A Play card will be required to complete the attendance transaction.
Using the Keypad on the POS, they need to type in the Quantity of people not scanned at the gate for an attendance type. Then press the button on the POS page for the attendance type.
Repeat, if necessary, for the different types.
Press Process Order button. Then press Complete Sale button.
The scan screen will open; each attendance type “sold” will require 2 card scans.
After all scans are completed, then press the Done button to complete the transaction.
For web tickets that cannot be scanned during a system outage/network failure that takes down all entrance devices, printed web tickets should be retained for scanning later when services are restored.
For those guests without printed tickets during a system outage/network failure, the confirmation number should be recorded manually. Park will need to generate printed images of the tickets from the confirmation in the office and retain those for scanning later when services are restored.
